“ This hidden gem of a restaurant tucked away north of downtown mckinney is my new favorite authentic taco spot. Their sauces are so flavorful and the spicy orange one has some heat! The al pastor and steak tacos are my favorite. The service is good however a little difficult since I don't speak spanish. There was a nice man at the counter that spoke english and took our order though. Will come again as the quality, authenticity and price were great. Did not take pics of the food since I devoured them so fast! ”

Highly preferred over gourmet tacos; these at taqueria Hernandez are fulfilling but I would say order 4+ if you're hungry fr fr. They have fruit too so I believe they double with a fruiteria. I haven't tried that yet. My new fav taco spot & I'll be back soon. I bought a jarritos, 7 tacos (chicken and bistec) & spent $20 ($16 before adding the jarrito). The food came up quick enough while I waited. I can't wait wait to go back. ”

Not crispy. Menu is big enough with tacos, gorditas, tortas (only 3 meat options) , and even menudo, YUM! Nothing fancy with food your family would make. It's that delicious and I enjoy each visit.
